Commercial
Project Description (Patti Pavilion, Swansea)
The iconic Grade II listed ‘Patti Pavilion’ on Swansea Bay’s waterfront underwent a £2.0 million refurbishment in 2008. Working in conjunction with a local developer we made extensive internal structural alterations, added a fully glazed extension to the gable elevation of the building and a new roof terrace for spectacular view’s over the Swansea Bay.
Education
Project Description (Brynsierfel Primary, Llanelli)
Constructed under a framework agreement with Carmarthenshire County Council we were the lead Civil & Structural Engineer on the new £6.0 million school with Kier Construction and Powell Dobson as the Architects. Anticipated completion date July 2011.
Health
Project Description (Cowbridge Health Centre, Cowbridge)
Our fourth appointment with Brackley Investments is for this £3.0 million health centre on the outskirts of Cowbridge in the Vale of Glamorgan. Due for completion December 2010. The Architect was Powell Dobson and the main contractor was Stepnell construction.
Industrial
Project Description (Toyoda, Resolven, Neath)
A 90,000 sq.ft industrial facility based on a steel propped portal design, the Architect was B3.
Leisure
Project Description (Kettering Theatre, Kettering)
This £4.0 million contract involved the design and construction of a new theatre. Completed Summer 2008. The client was Balance Leisure and the Architect was EPT Partnership.
Residential
Project Description (Conway Road, Cardiff)
This project was for a four storey residential development in Pontcanna, Cardiff for Atlantic Properties. The Architect on the project was HLN Architects.
Retail
Project Description (Dobbies Garden Centre, Shepton Mallet)
A £1.0 million re-development of a disused retail store in conjunction with ISG Pearce as the main contractors.
